Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA)

Phase I - Typical scope:

- Evaluate present environmental conditions of the site

- Evaluate risk from neighboring properties

- Reference historical documentation to determine previous land uses

- Examine drainage patterns and topography

- Report Preparation

- Should a Phase I assessment result in a recognized environmental condition, then a Phase II assessment may be recommended

Phase II - Typical scope:

- Soil borings to collect soil and/or groundwater samples

- Laboratory analyze samples for possible contamination

- Most common substances analyzed:

- Petroleum Hydrocarbons

- Heavy Metals

- Pesticides

- Solvents

- Report Preparation
